Need notifications to return after restarting phone

This has always been incredibly frustrating for me. I am extremely neurodivergent and rely on notifications as a visual reminder to follow up on things. Sometimes I'll need to restart my phone (for whatever reason) but then whatever notifications I had will disappear when I do so. We need a setting that we can enable so that notifications reappear after restarting phone.

Also need the option to restore them if they are swiped away in error. Or better yet, the option to be able to lock notifications so that they can't be swiped away errantly in the first place. If you swipe at it by mistake, then a lock code is required in order for it to unlock first, then you can swipe away. Again, optional of course, because I assume most people probably do not need this, but for someone like me it'd be so helpful.

I know there are all kinds of reminder apps and such, but stuff like that doesn't work for me, as it's just yet another to-do procedure (and my brain doesn't function like the average person). I need to be able to keep the actual notifications until I finally have a chance to follow up on them.

I included screenshot of examples of notifications. I have the S22 Ultra.

In notification settings you can always check recently deleted notifications as long as you have it turned on. Go to settings, notifications, advanced settings, notification history and toggle it on.

You can also go to the Galaxy Store and Download the Good Lock app, once downloaded you can then download NotiStar within the Good Lock app.

You can set that app to store notifications for set amount of time. You can put the NotiStar app icon on your screen anywhere you want so that you can don't have to go to the Good Lock to access it. You can also have access on your lockacreen.

Hi, yes I do have the Notification History enabled. But older notifications disappear as each new ones come in.

I will look into the Good Lock option, thanks.

You can save them for up to a year.

You can set how long notifications get saved in NotiStar, as @Robin621k said.  The default is 7 days.  Also in Notistar, you can set app unable to clear notifications.  Toggle that on and choose which apps you want to have a persistent notification.  You will still be able to swipe them away, but hitting clear all will not delete them (only notifications from apps not in the list).  In the new version in OneUI 8, you have to do some calisthenics to get to that toggle.  If you don't have OneUI8 yet, the toggle is out in the open at the bottom of the settings.  See this post by @Pianodude58 for instructions on how to enable it for OneUI8 https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Good-Lock-NotiStar-quot-Set-app-unable...

Sorry, didn't read that far down, my screen froze and I thought that was the end.

Good Lock + NotiStar may help you. Download GL from the Galaxy Store and install NotiStar from inside GL.

See this post from @Pianodude58 to enable the hidden setting that you'll need:

https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Good-Lock-NotiStar-quot-Set-app-unable...

You'll now be able to lock individual apps from having their notifications cleared by the "clear all" button in the notification shade. Note that you will still be able to swipe away individual notifications.

There is, unfortunately, no way to restore notifications that have been swiped away. But NotiStar will let you keep a notification history much longer than the stock history option in settings.
