Whenever I have bluetooth headset connected, notification sounds only come through bluetooth. I wish there was an option have bluetooth headphones connected, but still receive notification sounds from phone itself. I know there is an option in bluetooth setting to toggle "audio" on/off, but some apps wont work properly. For example, if I have "audio" disabled (meaning music and text messages and other notifications come through phone speaker instead of bluetooth), then when I call through viber I cant use bluetooth headphone (unless I enable "audio" in bluetooth settings.)
We should be able to choose which apps allowed to send notifications through phone speaker. I missed so many texts and notifications simply because I was connected to bluetooth headset, but wasnt wearing it. So I couldnt hear any notifications. Please fix this. I have S22 ultra, but its happening on all samsung devices because of the software itself
In your cellphone go into settings, sounds and vibration, volume and you should be able to adjust the notifications volume. If that doesn't work for you download the Goodlock app, then Sound Assistant from within that app and you should be able to control all of the sound volumes including the notifications while connected and disconnected to bluetooth devices. So im looking to do exactly what her problem is. I want my system sound to play thru my bluetooth headphones and not thru my phone. So say when i get a call. I dont want to hear the ring thru my phone and the bluetooth headphones. Only want to hear it thru my headphones. I have sound assistant installed and nothing seems to make this work. Ive had this work before but something has changed
I am having the same problem when connected to Bluetooth in my GMC pickup. I am missing very important phone calls and text messages. This needs to be fixed. A large majority of smartphones are used for business purposes. Let's find a fix!!
Same for me also. My Bluetooth disabled the audio notifications and I miss text as well because I may not be wearing my Bose at that moment. Really have to rely on my watch more than I should when I'm home but I may not wear it all the time.
