I get a tone sound from volume up/down buttons, but not from the side button. I was always getting the tone sound from side button previously before updating to One UI version: 7.0 and Android version 15. I don't understand why no sound with this now. How do I get it back? I really liked (always had this sound for side button). Why does an update cause certain things to go wrong, or either delete it. This update has caused other issues on my phone. :mobile_phone: Can someone please help!

First, clear device cache by following these steps:

1) Turn off your device.

[Your device may need to be connected to a powered USB device (ex: computer) before proceeding to the next step.]

2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.

3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."

4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."

6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

Second, see this post for some helpful tips:

For your side button sound, go to settings, sounds & vibration, system sound. Toggle screen lock/unlock.

@userCUYaACa0XU The side button will make a click sound but not a tone. Did you previously create a routine to create a sound when the side button was clicked?

Or did you replace the click sound with another sound using some 3rd party sound application?
