There appears to be a bug from the latest UI 5 update on the S22 Ultra and possibly other devices. The notifications no longer show a image in the bubble but only displays gray blank bubbles next to the notification.

That's so odd then. I wonder if it's just an ultra issue or a one off issue.

I've seen that a few times, but related to only one specific app. Even then, it doesn't happen enough to bother me.

Yea I have never had this happen before until the new update. I was curious since it occurred across multiple apps for me.

it began in the beta, improved, and happens to me now, maybe once a week. although, I haven't noticed it since I wiped the cache partition and repaired apps in recovery

Just wiped my cache partition but still several apps show grayed out bubbles. I'll just deal with it until a patch update happens.

I am also not experiencing this issue on an S22 Ultra, all of my notifications have their correct icon.  Perhaps you need to wipe your cache partition, or perhaps you have installed some icons that removed these smaller ones, or something to that end.

Yea I'll give it a shot with clearing cache to see if that does the trick. Thanks
