While watching a YouTube video, incoming phone calls don't ring my phone and instead go straight to voicemail. How do I fix this?

Not sure. I tried looking at YouTube settings to see if there was something that might be causing that, but I couldn't find anything.

Is notifications silenced set to off in the YouTube app? Disable Sounds And Notifications. 1724653623166.jpg

I looked at that, too, but didn't seem like it would explain why her messages to to voicemail. Unless...it's because she doesn't hear the phone, which she doesn't. So, you are probably right šŸ˜Š

Yeah you're right maybe if do not disturb settings allow calls from all might work? It may be thinking it's in dnd mode maybe from modes and routines?

Could be. It's probably something really simple and we're just overlooking it.

You have to manually turn on DND, unless you have it included in a mode or routine to start automatically when YouTube starts, and it doesn't sound like the OP did that, or she would know it and turn it off.

@usssera No but my DND start time is 10p and the missed call was at 7:30p. Also the caller is a favorite so that overrides the DND.

The above comment about DND was meant for @usssera, who mentioned it might be on DND.  Your YouTube settings menu does not have the options shown on the screenshot above to disable turn off sounds and vibrations?  I don't have YouTube so I cannot check the settings, but I am sure the answer lies within the YouTube settings, since it only appears to be happening when YouTube is active.

It's probably in the YouTube settings @usssera pointed you to. YouTube most likely assumes you don't want to be disturbed while watching their precious videos.  If you don't hear the phone or get notifications a call is coming in, it will go to voicemail.
