Galaxy S22You have to manually turn on DND, unless you have it included in a mode or routine to start automatically when YouTube starts, and it doesn't sound like the OP did that, or she would know it and turn it off.

Galaxy S22The above comment about DND was meant for @usssera, who mentioned it might be on DND. Your YouTube settings menu does not have the options shown on the screenshot above to disable turn off sounds and vibrations? I don't have YouTube so I cannot check the settings, but I am sure the answer lies within the YouTube settings, since it only appears to be happening when YouTube is active.

Galaxy S22It's probably in the YouTube settings @usssera pointed you to. YouTube most likely assumes you don't want to be disturbed while watching their precious videos. If you don't hear the phone or get notifications a call is coming in, it will go to voicemail.
