Galaxy S22Setting>Apps>Gallery>Storage>Clear cache. If that doesn't work, clear data instead. Your pictures will still be there, don't worry.

Galaxy S22Do the files show up when you connect your phone to a computer? Can you delete them this way?

Galaxy S22Yeah, just try it out. It can't hurt. If you don't see them, try clearing the cache partition. With the phone off, press + hold power and volume up until the Samsung logo disappears. With volume keys, highlight wipe cache partition, then power to select (highlight yes to confirm). Reboot from the menu.

Galaxy S22Ugh, this took me a few hours of searching and digging through my phone (I have a Samsung S23). I'm not sure what happened to cause this. I think I was taking a picture while an app was updating? This had some numbers and scrolling through the details with the help of other images, it had something like this where it was a temporary file used by the Camera app.
*_temp.jpg
/Camera
Specifically, one of the files was:
20231009_135055_temp.jpg
/Camera
I wasn't sure how to access this even by connecting to a computer since it was not in the following path: .../ Internal storage / DCIM/ Camera. Try the last attempt below:
My attempts:
_โ_ Head to Settings > Apps for Camera, Gallery, and Files. Then select "Clear data" and "Clear cache".
_โ_ Restart phone.
_โ_ Reset Camera app.
_โ_ Reset permissions... Then allow my phone to view pictures and video again for the apps.
_โ_ Turn off phone to and follow steps to "Clear Cache Partition" as user VerbumVeritum stated => https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S22/Picture-Stuck-Processing-in-Camera-Gallery-for-Samsun... .
_โ_ Uninstalling Gallery updates. Then reinstalling the Gallery through using the Galaxy Store.
_โ_ Head to My Files > โฎ (i.e. the three ... vertically on the upper right hand corner) > Settings. Turn off the "Trash" to "keep deleted files and folders for 30 days" and restart phone again. This was based on this forum post => https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s10-series/picture-stuck-processing-in-camera-gallery-for... .
_โ_ Head to Settings > Apps > Gallery > Gallery Settings . Turn off the "Trash" to "keep deleted files and folders for 30 days". Open your Camera to browse the broken photos. For each photo that is still "processing" the temporary image that you were having problems deleting, hit the trash button. This seemed to work for me. If you would like, you can turn it back on after deleting the temporary files.

Galaxy S22I believe this problem is caused by Google photos backup being turn off before a backup was complete. When I turned on backup photos in Google photo app, the stuck uploading 1 item progress line started moving towards the completion and eventually completed .
