I just updated to one UI 7 and android 15 on my base s22. is there anyway possible I can switch back to the old notification drop down, where it's my notifications and quick settings

First, if you would have searched here you probably would have found several answers to your question. But for the sake of brevity, I will answer your question. Pull down your app screen, tap on the pencil, tap on panel settings and put them together.

I edit the quick setting icons using the pencil, click "Done" when I'm finished editing, and as soon as I close the editing session, the quick settings icons revert back to whatever Android 15 thinks they should be. I'll remove an icon (e.g., "location"), or add an icon ("Bluetooth"), but when I go back to the home screen, "location" is displayed, but "Bluetooth" is not. 

For this and a slew of other reasons, I effing HATE Android 15.
