Rear facing camera records sound poorly.

When recording a video using the main camera on the back of the phone, all sound is distorted and of a poor quality when played back. However when i record a voice recording e.g. whatsapp, there is nothing wrong with the playback. When i am in a phone call or video call, there are no issues with whay other people here and when i recors a video on my front camera, there are no issues. Anyone have any idea what could be going on? I have carried out updates, restarts, cache clearing and checked my settings and obvs made sure my hand/fingers arent covering the microphone. I even got my partner to test it out.

Are you using the feature that tries to zoom in the audio of what you're recording? Because it may be the cause of your issue.

On your pro mode video you can use 2 different microphones or both at same time

You can use front, back ,or both microphones(omni)

That is possible only on pro video

And on top left of picture yo< will see recording level
