Restore easy access icons

I've downloaded the new update on my S22 + and I've lost my easy access icons on my home screen. I read you can restore it by clicking on the pencil icon in the top right corner from the pull down, but I dont have that icon? All I have showing is my WiFi , signal and battery.  Please help. Many thank

You're describing the status bar. You need to pull down on the top right portion of the screen for the quick panel (that's not the home screen).

You'll see the pencil. Tap it, go to panel settings, change it to "together."
