Am i the only one whos wifi keeps basically stopping since the android 13 update?
It will go fine then it will get an ! on the wifi icon and cease to do anything . I'll need to actually shut off wifi and turn it back on to get wifi working again. Sometimes switching to airplane mode and disabling bluetooth and mobile data helps but not always
Makes my phone essentially unusable. Used to love samsung devices but lately mine is just an expensive paperweight. Wife got her phone same time as me and hasn't updated and has zero issues. My issues ONLY started when updating to android 13.
Recommend you go to your device settings menu, go down to GENERAL MANAGEMENT, and tap on RESET. Now don't factory reset it. Choose SETTINGS RESET and do a reset of the settings, which will reset various settings (preferred device settings mostly) and restart it. After that, return to the GENERAL MANAGEMENT, and this time choose NETWORK RESET, and restart it again. You will have to re-pair any Bluetooth devices you typically use like your headset, your car audio, and Bluetooth earbuds. You will also have to re-save all your WiFi networks and passwords. But, hopefully this should fix those network connection problems.
Nothing has worked on my end. Makes my phone basically useless as a work phone because I never know when internet has decided it doesn't need to be a thing and since I live rural a lot of my day relies on wifi
I've had the same issue on my Galaxy S21 FE 5G. This is a know bug in Android 13, and they have done nothing to fix it yet. It's an issue with any device running Android 13, but the Network Reset that Samsung has officially suggested is nothing but a mere band aid fix. It will keep Wi-Fi from turning itself off as often, but the problem will still persist. Actually fix the bugs and stop sitting on these issues that can and will cause serious issues for many users.
Having the exact issue myself after the last update. Every other device in my entire house works but this one immediately had wifi issues after the update. Samsung support wants me to bring the phone into their tech support but it's clearly a software issue. Supposedly my issue was escalated to another support team. It's been almost a month now with my internet disconnecting and data draining.
