Thank you for the response. I connected my phone to Smart Switch on my Laptop but there wasn't any update for my phone. My phone was purchased in the US but I'm out of the US region right now. Could this be any reason for not receiving the update?
If you have a non-US SIM in the phone right now, that could be causing an issue. Try removing the SIM and running Smart Switch again.
If that doesn't work, you may need to obtain a SIM from the carrier that provided the phone's original cell service when you return stateside.
Alternatively, you could flash the unlocked US firmware to the phone using Odin. This would wipe all data and overwrite the original carrier firmware, but would allow updates directly from Samsung.
My understanding is that posting those directions here is frowned upon. You can start with YouTube. There should be a few tutorials there. Just make sure you backup all your data and download the proper firmware for your phone model (S22 Ultra US-unlocked would be S908U1).
