After a recent update, the camera turns on by itself and starts taking hundreds of pictures. I'm not sure what's happening. Additionally, every time this occurs, I notice the S Pen icon on the screen, and the Air Command menu pops up. It seems like an S Pen issue, but as a software engineer myself, I'm quite certain it's a software problem rather than a hardware one. Can anyone please help me fix this, or is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
I have an S22 ultra and never once had an issue. Sounds like an app you downloaded that causes this. Some nefarious apps ask for stupid permissions and some people, not thinking of the repercussions, grant them. Maybe look at some apps you recently downloaded when that happened. Hope that helps and sorry for that issue. I've had mine since it came out and never once had any issues.
Since day 1 my S22 Camera comes on by itself. Without prompting it. Sick of it. How can this issue be resolved. Otherwise love the phone. I've turned the app off in Camera settings and it still comes on. Seems like a hack or something.
My Ultra 23 just started doing it about 1 hour ago. My first thought was malware... thought I was gonna have to change antivirus companies. I'm glad I'm not alone but sorry that it's circulating cause it's annoying AF.
It's the pen. My pen fell and my wife found it in the driveway days later. It was pretty beat up. When I put it back in the phone it started going crazy and taking a bunch of pictures just like everybody describe when I took out the pen it was okay I guess it's time to buy new pen
