S22 series of phones Battery Drain

The Galaxy s22 drops battery  very quickly  within minutes. Like it goes from 85 to 79 extremely quick. I know the capacity  is low but the chip is supposed  to be optimized can Samsung  please push out an update. I only had this phone for 4 days now.

I have no idea what changed but battery life seems significantly better today.

I had been using an S21 Ultra, typically would expect to be at around 40% at this time of day. I have been using the S22 Ultra in the US Verizon, sitting at 26% now on day three now. Google play services seems to be the biggest user of battery at 12% of power but only active one minute..somethings not right with this..

Removing Google play services in the detailed Aps section, rebooting and allowing the "services" to update again, then recharging seems to have helped, play services has dropped to 2.2% of my usage today..

I have had this phone for 3 days and have concerning red flags. I got tje new s22 ultra and the battery burns through fast. My Samsung note 9 had better battery usage. And I've had some apps freeze up. Data is acting like it's throttling off network. Getting concerned that this switch was a mistake. I've checked for updates. The only thing i can't update is galaxy apps. It give me a code to put in to report it. I hope this get better soon.

This is happening because we are using the phone before it's technically been released to the public. 😔 Samsung should have some updates rolling out soon (I've read)

Yeah, I just jumped on the early adopter list because of the perks. Now I know why haha. But I trust all will be fixed in time. I've noticed all of the upgrades, and the cohesion that's happening with it all. It'll be good soon

Mine stopped charging. Had to order a new one. No one knows the issue.

Samsung has to make sure this battery last longer than their competitors. I just saw video from a reliable source that the iPhone 13 lasts longer than the S22. Samsung has to step up the company and have a better brand for the smartphones. They need to study what Apple does for their phones for their customers and apply those things to Samsung.

I agree to the battery lasting longer but, everything else.... NOOOOOO!! They've already taken the headphone jack, removable battery, and now the memory card like apple. They need to stop copying apple with that!! I have a S21+ and I stf don't want the next, bcz it doesn't have a memory card slot. I was already upset they took away the headphone jack. Plz stop copying apple!!

No. What I mean like iMessage, FaceTime, and Airdrop. Things like that keeps people wanting to buy a iPhone. Samsung needs features that are only on Samsung.
