S22 series of phones Battery Drain

The Galaxy s22 drops battery  very quickly  within minutes. Like it goes from 85 to 79 extremely quick. I know the capacity  is low but the chip is supposed  to be optimized can Samsung  please push out an update. I only had this phone for 4 days now.

Had anyone had bad battery life with their new phone?

I'm coming from the S20 Ultra and I could use the phone pretty heavily in performance mode and it would last all day 8-12 at night and usually still have juice for half of the next day.

Now I can't leave work at 5 without my phone being at 10% or less and needing to plug it in on the ride home.

I would have rather kept my model with memory card and amazing battery

Yes, same here with battery life.(S22Ultra) even with battery optimization feature on.

The system will learn from the use and will improve, this can take 1 or weeks.

I've had this now for a month and it has not improved in the slightest
And it's not like I have any apps that are killing the battery

Came from different phone that had pretty close the same screen size and I had better battery life.

I get delayed notifications as well and it seems like the internet slows or turns off at time when the screen is off too
I don't have all the battery saver things on but I do have adaptive display, optimized performance, low scrolling thing. I can't believe how terrible the battery is

Have you tried extended battery cases for your phone. I've been using the Zero Lemon ones for all my phones since the Note 4. I have yet to see a phone that would last to lunch time. If you're curious here's a link to Amazon for your phone. Today there are alot more company's that make these as well I just prefer Zero Lemon myself.

No because they're bulky and again my old phone would last over a full day

Same here. I briefly had the S22+ and battery life was amazing. I should have kept that. My Ultra battery life is horrendous and I charge before going home from work. This is even with airplane mode on during half of my work day since I can only use my phone outside.

yes experiencing not so great battery life also which I've reported. hopefully an update fixes the issue. coming from a note 10+ which lasted all day without any issues, I'm disappointed with the battery performance of my S22 ultra. pay more get less with a bigger battery should not be the case
