The Galaxy s22 drops battery very quickly within minutes. Like it goes from 85 to 79 extremely quick. I know the capacity is low but the chip is supposed to be optimized can Samsung please push out an update. I only had this phone for 4 days now.

Galaxy S22I have the same issue with the compact s22. Battery drains really quickly with light use. Samsung please fix the quick battery drain issue for these flagship phones.

Some things that can help with Battery optimization, if you're just having a battery draining issue, is the following:
Note: The battery adaptive feature on S22 phone, may cause the battery to drain a little faster at first until the phone adapts to your usage, and learns how you're operating, the charge will be stored and used in different manners based on how you use your phone. This sometimes can take a few weeks for it to learn the habits and customize itself to make sure you have the best performance and lasting battery.

If you're receiving an overheating message check out the following link:

If you've tried troubleshooting above, when it comes to problems overheating or exorbitant drain to the battery, repairs would be recommended. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

Galaxy S22I purchased two S22 Ultra's and after all of the information that was published about the larger battery for the phone, it gave me the impression it should last for 10-12 hours w/o needing charged. On average, I'm getting 8+ hrs with little usage during the day. Now there are even blogs and videos that are showing the phone isn't lasting as long as the iPhone 13 Pro. It seems that Samsung should be giving us better tech given the amount of money the consumers are having to pay for these devices!
