The Galaxy s22 drops battery  very quickly  within minutes. Like it goes from 85 to 79 extremely quick. I know the capacity  is low but the chip is supposed  to be optimized can Samsung  please push out an update. I only had this phone for 4 days now.

I've barely installed many apps but I followed what you said for the wifi control history and limited location access for apps that were using it throughout the day.

The background apps are what suck your battery. I limit those and some are usually apps you dont use everyday or background apps. Those social media apps, you need to go to settings, apps, chose the app and turn off allow background usage and on restrict battery usage. The ones i dont use i uninstall or disable.

Software just needs optimizing with the new processor & all that, will get better in a month or 2

I know but samsung really needs to get phones shipped with optimized software instead of shipping a product that's not fully finished.

True but it seems the days of smartphone makers releasing phones that run perfectly out the box are behind us, even apple is having bugs in there software these days, I guess thats what happens when their is a need to release a phone every 12 months.

According to reviews online they see around 8 hours of total screen on time while I've only managed 4 hours.

I went back to my note 20 ultra. Not much of an update to justify the price
