S22 ultra using Samsung messages error sending SMS

Sending to 1 contact individually ends up  sending to 2 additional contacts, 

other two work individually fine

originally the 3 were in a group, (on old Note 10)

trying deleting group, deleting and recreating single contact, still same problem.

check group conversations.

also change default app to google messages, and it sends individually fine.

Go into the messages with the problematic contact and hit the 3 dots, from there you should be able to see to whom else will the message go to. Sounds like it transferred from your old phone

S22 ULTRA. I want to change my text app to were I can customize my text background on each contacts. I want to do it without losing any of my previous texts. I don't know howv to change it what to change it to non do I know where to go to do that. Can anyone help me out?
