SOS Emergency calls keep call 911 multiple times again

Hey all, when SOS Emergency calls rolled out, my phone would constantly trigger it. I thought I was able to turn it off without an issue, but recently it keeps calling 911 again and now I can't find a way to completely disable it. I believe it's calling from 5 quick clicks of the side button, I run a machine and get bounced around a lot. I need to have my phone on me for work related calls so I can't have this stupid feature calling 911 2-3 times a day! Please help, it's becoming very problematic

Go into setting and do a search for emergency sos. There you will find the option to disable it. I had to do the same thing.

I no longer have that option. I had it in the past and disabled it. Suddenly the issue started occurring again, I went into settings and there is no longer an option to disable it

What is the model number of your phone in Settings>About phone?

After further investigation, I have confirmed that this the new layout of the SOS page after an update in June/July. 😢 I don't change these settings often, so it was news to me lol. If you set the number to a family member or friend, and disable the alert sound, does it still call 911 and create problems?

I set the number to a bunch of zeros, it still makes the alert and seems to try to call

It calls 911? Or it calls the zeros? Maybe setting it to a real number will change the behavior.
