Samsung S 22 ultra automatically closing all applications.

I've had my S22 ultra since basically the first week it shipped, and I've never had this problem before, however after the last major update I've been continuously having my phone instantaneously exit apps when switching between them.

I see it the most when switching from YouTube to discord and then back again. I'll be in the middle of watching a YouTube video, jump over to discord to respond to a message for 5-10 seconds, and then go back to YouTube, where it then reloads the application and I lose my progress in the video.

It's not a RAM overuse issue, cause I've never even gotten close to using all the ram on this phone, and it seems to be exacerbated when using battery saver. I'm not sure why this is suddenly happening, but it's happening across all my apps.

Please let me know if you guys have any information on this, I would greatly appreciate it

Hey there @Sytan, I hope you're doing well.

Have you tried clearing your system's cache via recovery mode?

To do so, follow these step:

1. Turn off your device by pressing and holding the power and volume down button and tapping the power off icon.

2. Enter the recovery screen by holding down the power and volume up buttons until you see the logo appear. At this point, you can release the buttons.

3. Here, your device will be in recovery mode and you will be presented with multiple options. Use the volume down button to go to Wipe cache partition.

Warning: Wipe data/factory reset will completely reset your entire device. Be careful to not choose this option.

4. You will see a warning here, but since you want to clear the cache, use the volume down button to select yes. Then, press the power button to confirm.

5. You will be brought back to the recovery screen, press the power button where reboot system now is highlighted.

I appreciate the information, however I did try this yesterday, and it sadly made no difference. I also just installed the latest security patch/system update today, and that also did not fix it. It's definitely worse when in battery saver mode, but once I get 3 apps open, the third instantly closes. It's very annoying and limiting
