I have bought S22 ultra from amazon seller named Samsang store from new delhi on/around Nov 2023. Suddenly pink lines appeared on my screen after software update. I went to the store to replace my screen and it turned out that the device sold by samsung store to me was an imported piece, although i have device invoice, service centre rejected free screen replacement and asked for 25000 for a nee screen. I feel I am using some chinese smart phones rather than samsung flag ship phones. Note that my phone doesnt have any physical damage but slowly its screen is dying by random software update. I really dont want to pay 25000 just for screen replacement as S24 is available at 38000 ruppees. Whats disappointing is its resale value is also less, one plus mid range phones will have higher resale value than S22 ultra. I am eligible to avail 11000 ruppees if I exchange my phone to buy a new one. I bought this phone at 90000 ruppees just 2.5 years ago and its current worth is not even 15000.
