I am facing a very frustrating issue with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Despite entering the correct pattern, the phone refuses to unlock and keeps returning to the lock screen (as seen in the attached video).

This is clearly a software glitch/System UI crash and not a user error. My phone contains 10 years of priceless memories and critical professional data.

Iโ€™ve visited the service center, but the only solution being offered is a "Factory Reset," which will wipe everything. I cannot afford to lose my data due to a technical failure in Samsung's own system.

Looking for an urgent resolution that restores my device without data loss.

Unfortunately, the only way to reset login information is to reset the phone.  In the future, you should have more than one login method in case one fails and regularly make complete backups of your important data to an external device.  Ten years without a backup seems like asking for trouble. All phones will fail at some point for any reason.  The good news is that your contacts, apps, messages and settings are all in your Samsung backup.  Your pictures should be backed up to Google photos.  They will all be able to be restored after a reset.  Sadly, you will lose any personal files not backed up to a cloud storage or external device.

"Ten years without a backup seems like asking for trouble. All PHONES will FAIL at some point for any reason......." LOL, Planned obsolescence is a proven real Fact. It's best to trade in yearly

Planned obsolescence or not, it's  just foolish and counterproductive to never do a back up if you have important stuff saved.

I'm sorry that you haven't received any helpful responses here. I have a S22 with an identical issue: you enter the PIN, it unlocks, then immediately loops back to locked. There is something software-related happening, and I hope someone with Samsung can chime in about it.

I also have the same issue that started around March 20th. I ended up getting a new phone but cannot get my photos off my s22. Have you been able to fix the issue?

Were your photos backed up to Google? Go to photos.google.com or open Google photos on your phone.  If they are in Google, you will be able to download them to your phone and the will appear in the gallery.

I am having a similar issue where I get stuck in a frozen state and then the phone shuts off for about 20 minutes to an hour. Only way to get it back on was to hold down volume and power buttons but only randomly does it actually get the phone to turn back on. I was having this issue a month or two ago and though maybe my battery was nearing the end of its life so I got a new battery and ubreakifix. This didn't fix the problem so I tried removing apps that were consuming a lot of space and nothing. Fast forward a couple weeks to today. I just performed a complete factory reset and this issue still persists. It's clear this is planned obsolescence to force users into purchasing new product. My phone had also been kept in mint condition protective case and screen monitoring it's temperature checking for updates etcetera. I have applied to a class action lawsuit because this is criminal. It's obvious this last update broke my phone.
