I purchased my S22+ two weeks ago. Since yesterday it has started constantly freezing up and randomly rebooting. Even while I was writing here it froze and rebooted. I haven't installed any new apps or done anything that could be causing this issue. The phone is brand new and I had to wait 3 months for it to be delievered due to Samsung shortages.

Hello, I can certainly understand how frustrating it is when your phone is constantly freezing and rebooting. It seems you have tried all of the troubleshooting available here: Samsung phone or tablet reboots repeatedly. The next step would be a service repair. Please feel free to reach out to us directly via one of the following options for ship-in service, and include a link to this thread along with the model code and IMEI number of the phone. Please note that when shipping the phone for service, the process is approximately 7-14 business days including shipping. Samsung does not provide a loaner device during this time. For more information on warranty coverage, please see this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/warranty/.

Try these steps:

1) power down the phone
2) when off, hold volume up+power button until you see "Samsung" on the screen, then release power but continue holding volume up
3) use volume down key to scroll down to "clear cache" then press the power button to select it
4) after cache is cleared, use volume down button again to scroll down to "repair & optimize apps"
5) press power button on that and it'll take a minute but when it finishes it'll reboot the phone normally

This is just a basic troubleshooting guide but has worked wonders on my S22 Ultra when the software was bugging out and I was getting stuttering and bad battery life. It's worth a try. Let me know if this helps in any way.

Thanks. I tried that but it didn't work. The phone is now completely dead and can't even be turned on,

You must have some major problem then. It's not possible that clearing the cache and repairing apps bricked your phone. You should be able to boot to recovery again and can try formatting the phone but it's up to you. Again though, clearing cache won't brick a device so I don't know what your phones issue could be

I didn't mean that clearing the cache caused the phone to die. It happened later. I can't even reboot it anymore. I guess it says all about the quality of Samsung. The phone has been in use for barely 10 days.
