When you send videos via text messages it auto compresses it. Also, if they have an Apple iphone, it will automatically be horrific. It has something to do with apple using an outdated messaging system. So my friends who use iphone have shared with me that if you are trying to send video to multiple peeps, keep the Android peeps off the thread. Cuz apple peeps can see it fine but any android users will ruin it for everyone. This is why proprietary stuff sucks, and I hate how Samsung has been moving in that direction! (If I wanted that, I would stick with iphone. I've been a Samsung user since the Galaxy S2, so I've seen the transformation of Samsung.
The best way to send video so they can see exactly what you see, is to use WeTransfer. It will tell you to set up an account and try to get you to pay (especially if on iphone) but just click around. I don't have an account and I sent lots of video footage with no problems. It will email them a link so they can download and view the video. Good luck!

You need to use a program that doesn't compress the video before sending it. I like telegram but there are many. You and the other person must both be using the same program.

Use a Quick Share link. It's built into the phone, so you don't need a separate app.
