Galaxy S22Hello, there. Please check out the following link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01201768/ If this doesn't help, because sims are a carrier thing, you would need to contact them directly for further assistance.
If the carrier is unable to resolve this, the phone will need to be evaluated by certified technicians. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options:
1. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/samsungcareus
2. Twitter: https://www.x.com/samsungcareus
3. Live chat: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact-customer-services
3. Private Message: https://bit.ly/3hzZfw8
If the PM link is not working for you, you can click on my name and send me a private message directly from my profile.
For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

Galaxy S22SIM card not inserted: The SIM card may not be inserted properly or securely.
Damaged SIM card: The SIM card may be damaged.
Software glitch: There may be a software glitch on the phone.
Network settings: There may be an issue with the phone's network settings.
Here are some things you can try if your Samsung phone is asking for a SIM card:
Restart your phone: Restarting your phone may resolve the issue.
Check the SIM card: Remove the SIM card and check for dust or other particles that may be interfering with it. Reinsert the SIM card so it's properly seated.
Reset mobile network settings: Resetting your phone's mobile network settings may help.
Try another phone: Insert the SIM card into another phone to see if it's detected.
A SIM card is a vital part of a Samsung phone, as it allows you to access the network and authenticate you. Without a SIM card, you can only use your phone's Wi-Fi to browse the web, access social media, and stream video. To make calls, send messages, and access cellular data, you'll need a SIM card and a data plan.
