Galaxy S22This is a long winded problem all to figure out how to check the life of my battery.
Going to try to be as concise as I can. I'm an iPhone user, and when I looked at my battery health I thought the percentage it was showing was the life of my battery. I spent 120 dollars to get a new one only to realize what I was looking at the percent of my battery literally at the moment. Not the health of my battery. Me and some tech tried to go into diagnostics to see if we can actually discover if this is where I can see the actual HEALTH of my battery; only for my phone to say Samsung members isn't in this region.
- I made a Samsung account today, I live in the states. Linked my Samsung to my Samsung account and made sure everything says USA.
- Checked the forums here and found out Samsung members is having an app issue. Uninstalled it, went to the google play store installed that. Then cleared data and cache per this post. https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/samsung-members-broken-update/m-p/12029347#...
- I also rebooted my phone. I still cannot access the diagnostics settings because it's blocked behind the Samsung members is not available in this region (9).
Important to note this was a refurbished phone purchased from Amazon.
All I want to know is how do I see the health of my battery? iPhone shows it very straightforwardly, but with Samsung I am confused. If I can find out how to look at my battery health, I can return my phone tomorrow, check the health of the other battery and get my money back because I may have bought a battery I don't even need.

Galaxy S22I don't have any info on that. Just saying there might be, since it seems to be of interest to many people. I have an app called DevCheck which tells me if my battery life is good and how many charge cycles it has been through, but I'd have to know how many charge cycles the battery is expected to have in order to extrapolate the battery life remaining. I'm sure that information is available on some tech blog.

Galaxy S22Device care does not show the health of the battery. Clicking on battery from device care settings shows data I'm not looking for. Does the smiley face from device care magically change if my battery is bad?? I have no way of knowing if my battery that i replaced was still good.

Galaxy S22I discovered this, clearly, by observation. Any opinion on how to get my Samsung members to work so I can see my battery integrity?

Galaxy S22There may be some apps in the Play store that may give you that information.

Galaxy S22Could you specify? I'm aware Samsung US makes it search through a metaphorical jungle, but as a newer Samsung user, I'm at a loss.

Galaxy S22In the US it's not required to include battery health information so Samsung leaves that information out of the Update. It's only shown on the EU devicesthat require this information by law.
As @realaud stated you might find a app on the playstore but I've never seen one that provided this information.

Galaxy S22This ended up being the most useful as there was not other conceivable way for me to see my battery health as a US Samsung user, and with Samsung members blocked behind some wall i can't seem to bypass. I got my money back, thank you.
