I have a S22 and have updated to Android 13 about a month ago. Over the last couple of days a full screen ad to install Tiktoc appears from time to time on unlocking the phone. While I've read that a newly installed app could be the culprit, I have not installed any new apps for many months. Is there a way to specifically identify which app is the source of these pop-up Tiktoc app ads? Or whatever else needs to be done to stop it?
@user6QogQLwZOD Samsung's NiceCatch can help you identify where that pop up is coming from. NiceCatch is part of Samsung's Good Lock. Both are available in the Galaxy store.
I didn't realize that certain apps are in the Galaxy store and not in Google's Play store. Wasted a bunch of time until I went back and reread your post. Now I have NiceCatch installed and turned on "Detect Commercials". I'll report back the next time TicTok opens on unlocking the phone.
