Galaxy S22Same with me. The issue started on 11/1/25. I went through customer serivce/tech support after 3 days of this update loop. Followed several steps, operating in safe mode, clearing caches. Got to a factory reset which is not ideal and did not go through with it. Showed them this thread too. Their response "In this case, I suggest you to please wait till the device get update."
They're not gonna fix it anytime soon y'all...

Galaxy S22As someone else suggested, this seems to be a backlogs of updates, you can check the date details and it will slowly progress if you let the updates go. After five or so rounds I got to One UI v7, though there are updates after that as well.
Seems I/we weren't getting updates for many months.

Galaxy S22Finally stopped getting more updates. As stated previously by others, it looks like it's just a long backlog of separate updates. It's unclear to me if clearing cache did anything to help move things along, but you may or may not see any differences in the update info as it's not very descriptive and often looks the same. Especially with security updates. Not actually sure how many it is because it's been like a week of downloading updates that mostly look the same.

Galaxy S22Google must get engaged here. This issue is a software bug and needs Googles attention now!!!
Both our phones are S22 and both go through continuous 7.0 updates. I have paused them both and we can use the phones, but all updates are now on pause. NOT GOOD. It also has taken me much time to figure out that this was a bug and was tying up our phones for a long time. I have did a total reboot and it did not fix the issue. I am NOT going to do a factory reset as it will not fix and cause me huge amount of work to make sure I do not loose my data.

Galaxy S22I had the same issue today. I had to update and restart nearly a dozen time. It seems like doing the same thing over and over again but if you actually look at the ID of each update, you will notice each update is different. So, keep updating it. It is cumbersome but it will be done and will not present you any more updates after so many updates. Seems like they deployed this update in pieces instead of once. Or, our phones received bunch of different updates at the same time.
Anyway i don't have any updates now. All done.
