I was at a venue where I attempted to sign in to their wifi. It didn't work and every time I go to email, the solicitation comes up. My research indicates to go to settings and find "Network and WiFi" to disable but that option is not listed in my settings. Any advice?

Galaxy S22What do you mean you are getting notification when you open your email? Sometimes when you try to sign into a public wi-fi network you are asked for an email address so they can verify you are a human. They may send an email to confirm the address as legitimate. They may also use the email address to send you advertisements. What do the email messages say? If they are asking you to confirm your email address, just click the link. If you don't want to click the link because you are no longer at the venue, you can "forget" the wi-fi network in your settings. Go to settings/connections/wi-fi tap the dot menu and select advanced settings/manage networks. Tap "manage networks and go down the list and look for the wi-fi name of the venue, tap the network name and hit "forget" at the bottom. You might want to take this opportunity to clean out other networks you no longer use. If the emails are actually marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link.
