Unable to find the rest of an edited video in video editor

I was editing videos while I was skating and I used the Samsung editor and when I saved a portion of a clip those 9 seconds were saved but the rest is permanently gone. I can't find it anywhere.

Go to your gallery app and tap the 3 horizontal line menu. There should be a trash can icon. Check in there.

I tried looking in the trash and it's not there

Open the video back up in the editor and see if you get a revert button, if so, that should take you back to the original video.
