Why does updating an app have to be a problem. S22 Ultra is in no way a good replacement for the Note line. Get apps from google play store. Update it a few times, then you start getting updates from galaxy shop for that app. Now on a Note10+ that wouldn't be an issue. But, not with the s22 ultra. You have to be mindful and careful not to do it cause you get a quick pop-up message that let's you if you go ahead with the update it could mess up the function of the app. 
So why offer an update that will mess with the app and possibly the device as well. 
Galaxy Shop stay in your lane...leave google play apps update to google. 
Plus why offer updates to apps you don't offer in the first place

It is most unfortunate that the updates are messing with the function of your apps. It should not be happening, as the App developers are placing their Apps in both the Play Store and Galaxy Store. I would recommend contacting the particular App Developers individually to make them aware of the issues. I am not sure if this is limited to issues with the S22 alone, because it is a non-issue on my S25.

I've seen a few posts about this. It's across different devices. I'm pretty picky about which app store updates which apps. If an update pops up in Galaxy Store for something I want updated by Play Store, I have to deliberately ignore it until the Play Store version catches up. That can sometimes take a while, like a few days to a week.

My s22 ultra is stock on android 15. Is there a fix for this?
