I don't know what happened but my camera no longer functions properly. I get the "camera failed" message at least 10 times before it works if it works at all. This is truly pathetic, I have a s22 ultra it's not an old phone and suddenly my camera no longer functions. Going to have to consider going to another brand because all of the support online says it's a software issue, I updated to the latest version, I cleared the cache and data, and I restarted my phone multiple times, yet nothing fixes it. Absolutely terrible update whatever was pushed through.

Galaxy S22You could enter safe mode by holding the power button until the power off menu appears, tap and hold the power off button till the safe mode prompt appears, then tap okay.
Test your camera in safe mode.
If it is an android based problem not a camera problem you may need to do a factory reset.

Galaxy S22Did you follow the best practices after an update located here? https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871
This should be done after any kind of update, whether it's a complete OS, UI or security update. You can go to the app information screen and clear the app cache and data. You can force stop it and then try opening the camera to see if that cleared up your issue.

Galaxy S22Is there a Samsung Technician here? Mine started this yesterday - absolutely shocking. S23 Ultra been fantastic and now have this. I do not want to do a reset.
