WhatsApp Call issues after upgrading to Android 13

Using an S22 Ultra phone and after the upgrade to Android 13, my WhatsApp calls are dropping and disconnecting automatically. Reinstalled the app to avail of no benefit. Anybody else is having this issue?

PS: Noticed that WhatsApp is using the microphone constantly even after the call. The only way to stop using the microphone is to Force Stop the app!!

Try rebooting into recovery mode, clear the cache, and then run the repair apps option. Your phone will restart. Test out. LMK if this helps! GL!

I have wiped cache partition already after the upgrade but didn't try the repair apps option. Will try it out and update.

Me too, same issue
Samsung S21 Ultra 5G with tmobile 5G connevtion, so there is no bad network issue
All other apps works fine, but only whatsapp (specially Video/Audio Call)

This is a general issue in the last update from samsung (Android 13)

The problem is only on whatsapp.. All other apps are working without any errors

This sounds like the WhatsApp software needs to be updated to support Android 13. Try asking them on their forums, as Samsung did not make Android 13, or WhatsApp.
