I have reached out to two separate Samsung support teams about this, and was directed here instead. I recently purchased an unlocked US Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and am attempting to use a data eSIM while in Canada. However, I have not been getting data, and was instructed by the eSIM provider to edit my access point names. When I try to do so in settings, it says that these settings are unavailable for this user, despite the phone being unlocked from purchase.

Is there any way to have these settings made available? I've tried everything, from simply trying to add one anyway, to resetting my APNs to default, to even installing third-party applications to see if they can create APNs instead.

Try to edit apn while airplane mode is on.

Edit : The reason why APN cannot be configured because there was an exploit where you can get free data.

APN is a carrier feature that has to be enabled by service provider. Third party application will not help. If the provider in Canada supports eSIM, it should help you with setting up the associated APN for the plan.
