Galaxy S22Phone is a Verizon S22 Ultra. I've been using "Hey Google" forever. Suddenly, today, it stopped working. I've been at it for hours: checked all the settings in all of the places I could find, cleared caches, uninstalled Google updates, Google Assistant & reinstalled, cleared & redid Voice Recognition a couple of times, etc. Switching to Gemini did not help. However: voice recognition in Bixby works. Anyone having a similar problem recently, & was able to get it fixed?

Galaxy S22Hey user7q2eezQToO! Thanks for visiting the Community! "Hey Google" is a neat little feature and I want to make sure it's working correctly for you.
Check if "Hey Google" and Google Assistant are Enabled
Open the Google app on your device.
Tap your profile picture or initial in the top-right corner.
Go to Settings > Voice > Voice Match.
Ensure Hey Google is toggled on.
Retrain the Voice Model
Open the Google app.
Tap your profile picture or initial in the top-right corner.
Navigate to Settings > Voice > Voice Match.
Select Retrain voice model and follow the on-screen instructions.
Check Microphone Permissions
Open your device Settings.
Go to Apps & Notifications > Google > Permissions.
Ensure the Microphone permission is enabled.
Update the Google Assistant App
Open the Google Play Store.
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
Select Manage apps and device > Updates available.
If Google Assistant appears, tap Update.
Check Language Settings
Open the Google app.
Tap your profile picture or initial in the top-right corner.
Go to Settings > Voice > Languages.
Ensure the correct language is selected.
Turn Off Battery Saver
Open your device Settings.
Go to Battery > Battery Saver.
Toggle Battery Saver to Off.
Clean the Microphone
Inspect the microphone area for debris or lint.
Use compressed air or a soft brush to clean it gently.
Restart Your Device
Restart your phone to reset any temporary issues affecting "Hey Google."
Check Internet Connection
Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data network.
Restart your router if using Wi-Fi.
Disable Other Voice Assistants
Open Settings and navigate to the Voice Assistants section.
Disable any other voice assistants like Alexa or Bixby.
Perform a Factory Reset (Last Resort)
Back up your data.
Go to Settings > System > Reset Options > Erase All Data (Factory Reset).
Confirm the reset and set up your device again.
Please let us know if these steps help.

Galaxy S22Hi. I tried everything up to performing a factory reset, & nothing worked. I did not do the factory reset; I did not want to go through that hassle. If you try that & it works, please post here. I either use Bixby - don't like it at all - or activate Google by pressing on the Assistant icon & then the microphone icon.
