My phone only had 3 days has bright horizontal line across middle of phone screen noticed after final software update on July 10th. Did a factory reset still there. As it is whiteish line not sure if it is the screen or software issue.

You can also take the device to a local youbreakifix location and see if they can determine what is wrong, and possibly fix it as well.  If it is not accidental damage (drop, thrown into lava, etc) then you should be able to warranty replace it.

If your provider is T-Mobile, and if they have technicians on site, ask them to do a quick diagnostic. If they don't have technicians on site, and there is no physical damage to the phone, the mobile experts should be able to initiate a warranty exchange.

If you did a factory reset and that line is still there it is physical damage whether or not you dropped it I cannot say it is a possibility a whole bunch of issues God only knows TBH if you've had it for 3 days take it back to the carrier store you bought it at until then you got it like that they will refund it and sell you a new one do not let them give you a warranty replacement after only 3 days because you will get a refurbished unit you are within the 14-day return policy just say hey ever since I opened the box and started using this phone it's been like this I'd like to return it and then once you're done I want to purchase a replacement or go to a different store and purchase or replacement either way call Samsung and your sol any physical damage voids the warranty and they will tell you to use insurance
