After updating, photos/videos that has been previously deleted "reappeared"

After the update, s 23 ultra, my messages are whack. A lot of photos and videos I "thought I deleted" reappeared! Also, the contacts I put in certain categories now show up in that category and the main txt. Any thoughts?

Are you using Samsung Messages or Google Messages?

You're supposed to back up your device and then you won't have that problem

Cool. Didn't see that in the handbook. But never had that issue before plus it only does it for one catagory. Thanks for help

Clearing the cache or performing a reset may resolve this issue.

My battery even on power saver seems to drawn faster since the update.
