Android Auto Google Maps Heads Up Display

I've read several threads indicating that this functionality now exists although who is actually able to use it appears to be very hit and miss. I have a 2025 Lexus ES 350 and it does not work for me. Curious if anyone has any experience with this. My phone is running Android. TIA.

The Android Auto HUD feature is working on my 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan SE R-Line. Make sure both your Android Auto and Infotainment System Software are up to date.

Thanks. I've done that. I also read that Google has to do something on their server side for this to work and they are rolling it out so it works for some but not others.

I would think your car's head unit must be capable of projecting.

Worked yesterday on my 2021 Ram 1500. No issues with Android Auto or Google Maps.

Interesting. Clearly the age of the vehicle doesn't necessarily matter.

It could be an update issue somewhere on your end.
