Yay another update another changes let's make everything more difficult let's change I don't know say a red camera icon to gray one now. Or green icon for a calculator to something else. Why are these changes absolutely necessary I understand the system changes I understand a lot of other changes why icons why something that's specifically hasn't changed or updated in years the specifically color coded why something that's specifically hasn't changed or updated in years the specifically color coded now needs a brand new makeover?
I get your frustration. But for Samsung as a business, if they don't occasionally freshen things up with something new, customers start losing interest, they stop talking about the brand, and new users don't find the appeal.
And usually changing the most apparent things, like icons and layouts are the best way to "freshen things up"
Well here's a thought if it's functional and it works and doesn't need to be improved you don't need a freshen it up. And what sucks is when you commit something to muscle memory like swiping down to get your notifications with your right thumb cuz you're holding it right handed now all of a sudden only brings up the adjustment settings as opposed to your notifications yeah it's going to **bleep** your customer base
Update tried to fool my Honda!! Android Auto suddenly refused to listen. My soothing, female voice that obeyed my commands changed to a guy that was useless and unable to complete basic commands.
Did some research and discovered the latest update had changed my Google voice search to a Gemini search. Changed it back to Google and now works fine.
This is a thing that people keep saying, but it's not entirely true. Yes some things are Google, but truth be told, Samsung has the ability to change or modify these things. They have wide latitude... It's their hardware. Please stop passing the buck. It's making people more upset.
