Galaxy S23

I was excited to get my galaxy s23 ultra because I heard it had the best camera. I travel a lot so taking good pics is important.

I'm very disappointed in this camera.  The pictures turn out so bright they look like a cartoon.  $1,200 for this phone and it takes horrible pictures.  It's there a way to fix that?. I just can't believe that this app very Uber expensive can't take a decent picture.  Joyous tok better pictures than this

Purchase a camera for a camera, instead of a phone! 😉

My photos come out great. No issues except the camera is slow.TdM4QeW66Q.jpg

If you're using photo mode, go into settings, select "intelligent optimization" and change it to minimum.

You can also try pro mode.

SAME. I have the s23 fe, and like you, I wanted a phone that took good pics...ha.
EPIC FAIL on Samsungs part. the camera absolutely sucks. along with constant **bleep** updates!!! while I love the Samsung world, getting a new phone? COSTS. setting up a new phone? causes a migraine. however, at this point I'm leaning towards doing it. moreso, changing carriers all together and going with a Google phone. technology in general got me wanting to ditch this cell and tablet. and instead put that phone with the looong curly cord back on the wall and bust out my coloring books for when I'm bored. 🙄😕😒😑😩

Can I ask what your settings are?
I would LOVE to help if I can!

I have the ZFOLD 5, I've had them all actually, cuz of the cameras.

I take a ton of pics and they turn out amazing 🩷 mostly for my biz and being an influencer so I'm very picky!!!

I'm anxiously waiting for the ZFOLD 7!

There are downloads in the Samsung store that give you more options. I think it's now called camera assistant. I took this moon pic before I downloaded that. The water fall was me messing with settings so the water is soft. BZmvfQvXql.jpgaejjssXxhs.jpg

A couple of questions.  Do you have Scene optimizer on?  If you do, turn it off.  Do you have your screen mode setting set to natural or vivid?  If you have it set to vivid, adjust the white balance.  I'm not sure if the screen mode translates into what the camera sees, but it can't hurt to make the adjustment. Also, before you take your shot, you can try using Pro mode, where you can set the white balance.  Or, as someone already mentioned, download Good Lock/Camera Assistant and play around.  The good thing about digital cameras is that you can waste as many shots as you want without the cost of developing.
