Can we keep Samsung Messages?!

I just opened my phone and realized Samsung wants us to switch to Google messages. I am not ok with this. This is a dumb idea. Google messages did not work well when I 1st bought my phone and I'm sure it doesn't work any better now. Please let us keep the option for Samsung messages. I'm sure many Samsung users feel the same way.

What is the best alternative besides Google. Also SAMSUNG can you remove the switch to Google? It's mid-april and I don't want to see this until July.

I'll decide in July so I don't want the message displayed to switch to Google every time I go to read text messages.

I'm so tired of the forced push of Google. I've had a samsung since 2017 and have watched Samsung turn into Google. If I wanted anything other than Samsung I wouldn't have bought it.
