Hello.

So I've tried support from my carrier and Samsung multiple times. About 6-8 weeks ago I started to experience choppy calls (on both ends eventually). A family member in the house has the same carrier and no issues, and I didn't before these 6-8 weeks either.

I was initially on an S21 FE (brand new when purchased - so was this S23 Ultra, from Samsung - the S21 is only 1y 2m old and this is 3 days). This S23 Ultra was removed from the box 3 days ago and activated with a BRAND NEW SIM. Same issues.

Any idea what to do? I'm stumped. It was fine before. I used to walk around and talk 85%+ of my calls. Now I have to find a spot that works and hold still.

Thank you,
Nick

Thank you for bringing up this topic in the community. I can relate to this concern as well. I had a similar issue, and I was able to fix it by getting the SIM card replaced by my carrier. There are things we can try before trying that option. Check out the link below. It covers concerns with dropped calls, but having a poor signal could also correlate with the article. If you have any further questions about your phone signal going in and out. As previously stated, you may contact your carrier or you can always send us a private message. I'm experiencing the same issue on my s22 plus with most recent update/software. Also photos don't like to send or are slow to send unless I'm in a certain spot at home. I hope someone is working on a fix.

Hello all, thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand the annoyance of constantly choppy audio during a call, as I have experienced this before myself. If you experience poor in-call sound quality, such as noise or the other party's voice being cut off, it may be an issue related to your mobile network coverage or your device's settings. Follow the guide below to solve the issue: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-troubleshoot-poor-sound-quality-during-a-ph...

If these steps did not resolve the audio choppiness, it would be best to contact your carrier for further assistance.

I have Verizon 5g and whether my phone call works out is seemingly random and beyond any control I've tried....sometimes it has to be a regular call, sometimes speakerphone is the only way someone can hear me, sometimes my Bluetooth headphones work, sometimes wifi needs to be on (not wifi calling, though), sometimes no mobile data and just wifi works... I have no idea what's happening
Basically the person on the other end can't hear me under some circumstances (the previously listed randomness) but it's not all the time, I can hear them, and there's no common denominator to try and figure it out
