Galaxy s23 ultra and it updated and now my phone is running slow and I can't open up some apps

If it is still available, you can clear the cache partician.
The February update removed this on most devices.

The next step is to download Good Guardians from the Galaxy Store. It is a Samsung suite of extended tools for your phone. Run Galaxy App Booster for all your apps.

Lastly, run the built in Device Care app and all the routines.

Once this is complete, restart your phone.
