Hello, that infamous BEEP-TONE after saying "Hey Google," that WAS and then WASN'T?
Well, I was using Google Maps and and decided to ask Google a question, which I've done many times (so I thought), but when I did the BEEP-TONE sounded! I was absolutely shocked that it made the tone to let me know it was listening!
However, when my trip was done and went back to the Maps search page to test try it again- the BEEP-TONE WENT AWAY... disappointed! But, another strange thing I noticed on that test was the "Hey Google" pop-up was the NEW GEMINI ICON, whereas when I was in the travel page the pop-up and "BEEP-TONE" was the old, original "HEY GOOGLE ICON!"
I cannot for the life of me figure out why that BEEP TONE was taken away in the first place, it was sooooo helpful; and now I can't understand why I'm finding out intermittent.
May I ask you to test this out and see what you get?
I'm not sure if this is as important to anyone else as it is me, but I know at least a few it's important to.
Was back when the tone disappeared and GEMINI came into being, I did think it was because of a conflict between the 2 and I troubleshooted it only to find out it didn't matter. However, I may go back and look at it again.
