To add an app to the home screen, simply swipe up on your home screen to open the app drawer. Tap and hold the app you want to add to the home screen. You can either drag it up to the home screen or tap and hold it and click "Add to Home Screen." To remove an app, do the same thing but in reverse: tap the app on the home screen that you want to delete and click "Remove from Home Screen" or "Uninstall" if you want to uninstall the app.
