How do we sort apps alphabetically on the app screen for horizontal setup?

How can we get an option to sort apps alphabetically on the app screen? It disappeared after the update when using apps in the horizontal setup. That long vertical screen is so annoying 😑

In One UI 7, it is not possible to sort alphabetically for horizontal setup (Custom). Hopefully, a future update will fix this.

If you want apps alphabetized on pages (horizontal orientation), you'll have to do it manually. As @Pianodude58 said, it may be possible in a future update.

Maybe that's how yours happened to end up. If you look at the sort options in the app drawer on One UI 7, you'll only find custom (horizontal) and alphabetical (vertical).

So, after the update, mine stayed as they were. After a few days I usually restart once a week, and when I restarted it was all scattered. So I just did manually. Sucks. Sorry.

I noticed something today. I have two contacts apps on my Samsung. One is the phone app and it can only be alphabetized manually. But the other contacts app is through Google and it automatically alphabetizes the contacts. Hope this helps
