Hello,
I have my software update settings set such that software updates are only allowed over WiFi.
On Sunday 5/18, Samsung pushed to my phone a huge update of over 3GB - and pushed it over mobile data, even though my settings disallow this.
As a result, my data plan is almost depleted. To get through my data needs until my data plan rolls over, I'll have to shell out money for another 3GB.
I'm sure I'm not the only person to whom this happened.
What is Samsung going to do about this? Is Samsung going to refund us the cost of buying another 3GB of data for the cycle? Or will a class action lawsuit have to be filed?
Thanks!

Galaxy S23Yes, it's the UI 7 update. The content of the update is a bit irrelevant to the issue I raised.

Galaxy S23I received a notification once the update was already in progress. But regardless of this, it should not have downloaded when I was not on WiFi, because I have the update settings set such that updates are only supposed to be downloaded on WiFi.

Galaxy S23You should reach out to your carrier and ask them how this happened.
I hope they will help you.
