Could be from a app you installed or spam

Like "meself" said most likely coming from an app. May be a malicous third-party app or a rogue app you downloaded. Uninstall apps you downloaded or ones you dont recognize from the point this behavior started happening.

Go to Google Play and install an app called "Malwarebytes" and run a full scan of your device. It may catch a rogue app on your phone.

Do you, by any chance, have the Now bar active and have Google Finance activated?  Go to settings/lock screen and AOD/Now Bar. Tap on Now bar and see which categories are active.  If Google Finance is active, turn it off.

If these stock prices are not coming to you from the Now bar, then I agree with the others, some rogue app took over your phone.  Are they coming as pop ups, or appearing in the upper left corner of your status bar or the center of your lock screen?  If they are popups, they are not coming from the now bar.  You can try to determine which app they are coming from by downloading Good Lock and the Nice Catch module and turning on detect toasts and detect commercials.  I also agree you should download Malwarebytes.
