Microphone mode

My Bose QC earbuds are picking up too much background noise. I learned about microphone mode, but I don't see the option while on a phone call. Is mic mode (voice focus) available on Galaxy S23? If so, how do I find it. I followed the directions on the Samsung website and don't see it. Can someone please help? The background noise is preventing hands free calls. Thank you.

While on a call, pull down twice from the top. Microphone Mode will be displayed:
