Everything was working fine post one ui 7 update. One day my phone discharged fully and shut down on its own. Post which to reduce battery load i turned on light perf profile. Light profile used to work perfect on oneui6. Now, apps have started crashing. Suddenly being stuck at launch screen. Have restarted phone several times. All is well for a few hours post which things start getting stuck or loading starts failing in apps. Any solutions ? Or if have to reset the phone.

Did you I perform a wipe cache partition after the update to Ui7?

I suspect not. It is crucial for you to do this whenever you install a new software update. This will eliminate accumulated temporary installation files and get rid of any linger system files that aren't compatible with the new Ui.

To perform this follow the below instructions.

Wipe Cache Partition.
Turn off phone.
While powered down, press power key and volume up button simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Let go of buttons. You will now be in the bootloader. Using Volume buttons for scrolling, power button for Yes.
Scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition. Press power, scroll to Yes, press power. Reboot press power key.

I would suggest wiping the cache partition to see if that will help

Steps to Clear Cache Partition:

  • Power off the device: Ensure your Samsung Galaxy S23 is completely turned off.

  • Access Recovery Mode:

  • Press and hold the Volume Up and Side (Power) buttons simultaneously.

  • Hold these buttons until the Android Recovery Menu appears on the screen.

  • Navigate to "Wipe cache partition":

  • Use the Volume Down button to scroll through the menu options until "Wipe cache partition" is highlighted.

  • Select "Wipe cache partition":

  • Press the Side (Power) button to select "Wipe cache partition".

  • Confirm the action:

  • The device will ask for confirmation. Use the Volume Down button to select "Yes" and then press the Side (Power) button to confirm.

  • Reboot the system:

  • After the cache wipe is complete, the system will return to the main menu.

  • Use the Volume Down button to select "Reboot system now" and press the Side (Power) button to restart the device.
