Is anyone having problems with their Norton 360 after the last 2 Samsung updates? My 23+ puts a notification that I need to turn on the VPN which then causes my RING videos (on 5 cameras) not to work. My phone doesn't leave the house as I am bedridden. If I have to go out, I turn VPN on. Phone says it's secure.
After 2nd update, it now also gives a notification that the Norton 360 is not on or the Link to Windows is off, each time I check, both are on.
I have tried troubleshooting with Norton and they say the problem is not on their end. To contact RING and have them change their settings when I have never had a problem before these updates. And they had no answer as to why the notifications keep appearing every time I unlock my phone.
@mattlee8 I think you have something else going on here. Your phone won't normally tell you that you have to turn on VPN. It could suggest it if your Wifi connection is not password protected. Can you get a screenshot of that notification?
I have a feeling that you may have a 3rd party app which is prompting you to enable this VPN connection.
First I was wrong, I have a S25+. My wifi is password protected. I was out of the house all day today at the doctor's so I had the VPN turned on. Since I turned it off, I am only getting a notification every time I unlock screen that the VPN is off and the network is secure. I will screenshot it as soon as the other notification appears again. I have not downloaded any new apps so this is why I am concerned. The only change were the updates.
Thank you. I only turn it on when I leave the house which is maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks as I am bedridden but have been having to go to doctor appointments. I appreciate your help.
